OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE REMODELING

In joining our Sales team as a Project Consultant, you will be part of a successful group of talented individuals improving homes in some of the finest neighborhoods in the Boston area. Services include kitchen, bath, and home remodeling, interior/exterior painting, cabinet painting, carpentry, windows, siding and doors. This means that your leads will be high quality prospects, which are often referrals from our existing client base. Over the past 35 years we have earned business from over 8,000 clients many of whom consider us their contractor for any project needed in their homes.

Our personal development program is designed to give top candidates an opportunity to develop sales and business development skills while enhancing their communication skills, industry knowledge and familiarity with our company and our customers while making top dollar for their efforts. We are looking for talented people with previous outside sales experience who are passionate about home improvement that want to continue to develop top selling and business development skills learning from a very talented team of highly successful sales superstars along with one-on-one sales coaching to help close more business. Project Consultants spend time with clients in their homes to determine their needs and educating them about Tom Curren Companies and how we differentiate ourselves from other contractors. The Project Consultant is responsible for generating sales from warm and cold leads as well as providing estimates and securing new business. We are seeking sincerely motivated and reliable candidates looking for a unique opportunity in a small business that has been successful for over 37 years in the home improvement industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

An ideal candidate would be a self-starter in trying to grow their clientele base, comfortable working with clients in their home, a problem solver, and most importantly, a team player. As a full-time sales representative, you will report to the VP of Sales. Your regular duties will include:

  • Going on retail sales call from leads brought in through a variety of marketing channels
  • Properly measuring and quoting kitchen and bath remodeling projects with support from other designers and estimators
  • Following a sales process to close residential clients by identifying clients needs and provide solutions tailored to those needs
  • Following company's processes and CRM system for tracking the sales process from beginning to end
  • Networking and building relationships with clients to extend future business and maintain a professional company image.
  • Conduct job site visits as necessary to ensure proper installation and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain contact with customers in a timely and professional manner on quotes, material acquisition, and installation schedules
  • Verify customer satisfaction at the completion of the job and collect any outstanding payments

Attend weekly Sales team meetings for coaching, training, mentoring opportunities with other successful sales team members and senior management with desire to commit to a defined sales process

  • Achieve daily and weekly goals necessary to maintain company goals
  • Represent our company and brand with professionalism and integrity

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years kitchen/bath design experience required
  • Remodeling estimation and take-off experience preferred
  • Excellent, timely, courteous follow-up skills
  • Interpersonal skills including listening, verbal and oral communication to allow for professional interaction with customers and vendors and maintain working relationships with co-workers
  • Professionalism to include dependability, accountability, punctuality, professional dress, speech and behavior, and organizational skills
  • Experience using a digital CRM system for tracking all sales activities

Education:

  • Bachelors or Associate Degree Preferred

Compensation:

Starting at $60,000 base salary (depending on experience) plus monthly commission

Ability to earn commissions -top producers earn $80K-$100K+ (base+commission) annually within 6 months

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
