Director of Retail Sales

Elleston is a new luxury women's clothing boutique in Vail, Colorado. We carry advanced contemporary and designer brands from all over the world. Slated to open November 2023!

We are seeking a Director of Retail Sales to oversee the launch of this amazing store concept. As the Director of Retail Sales, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our retail sales operations, which includes managing a team of sales associates, ensuring that sales targets are met, and developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in retail sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Strong problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience) is valuable
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
Experience with inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service
Experience working in luxury retail is a plus, with great style a must

Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers
- Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
- Meet or exceed sales goals and targets
- Conduct outside sales activities to attract new customers and expand the customer base
- Analyze market trends and customer preferences to identify business development opportunities
- Manage inventory levels and ensure products are adequately stocked on the sales floor
- Utilize technical sales knowledge to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers

Experience:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
