Position Summary:

Quirch Foods is looking for an experienced Account Executive for our National Accounts sales department. The ideal candidate would be an individual seeking to grow Sales with experience in the food industry. The position will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned customer base including headquarter calls, purchasing relationships and leading the Quirch Foods sales efforts. Responsible for developing and ensuring implementation of sales and marketing within assigned accounts.

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop complete, close working relationships with key decision makers at target accounts
  • Lead Quirch Foods team (sales, logistics, marketing, purchasing and merchandising) activities at assigned and targeted new accounts
  • Responsible for all sales results at assigned and targeted accounts
  • Responsible for all A/R collections in each assigned account
  • Build overall sales and account penetration at assigned and targeted accounts
  • Responsible for pricing and margin management within assigned accounts
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis
  • Actively participate in the training sessions to improvise knowledge and skills.
  • Proposes and negotiates sales, pricing and terms to the assigned accounts and to new customers.
  • Analyze product purchasing options, including identifying best market pricing, supplier options, and conducting plant visits to ensure supplier compliance.
  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions.
