Overview:

SPG Roofing and Exteriors is seeking an experienced sales manager to lead the sales team to higher levels of performance and expertise. SPG focuses on residential and commercial exterior products such as roofing, siding, gutters, windows, doors and paint. The ideal sales manager will have a sales background but will have strength in leadership, problem solving, mentorship, coaching and a passion for teaching. This role will be a mix of office work, sales administration, and field co-selling.

Your success as a sales manager will be based on hiring the right team, training them well and supporting the sales team to higher sales numbers than their previous year.

SPG utilizes EOS as our management platform, and the candidate must be willing to adhere to the principles, requirements and goals set in EOS.

Duties:

Prospecting sales candidates to build a sales team with the top talent in the market.

Hiring and training outside sales professionals

Tracking sales performance and providing sales forecasts to leadership

Facilitating one on one develop and coaching on a weekly basis.

Lead weekly sales meetings.

Direct sales reps to target areas.

Assist with job estimating and product knowledge.

Work with management to coach estimating issues.

Provide corrections to outside sales reps and terminate if needed.

Skills:

- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a team

- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail

- Proven experience in construction project management

- Ability to negotiate contracts and resolve conflicts

- Strong analytical skills to analyze project data and make informed decisions

- Business development skills to identify new opportunities for growth

- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build strong relationships with clients

- Sales and marketing knowledge to promote services and attract new clients
