ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The Sales Coordinator will ensure on a daily basis that customers are supported in a professional and efficient manner and in accordance with Delfingen's Sales processes and practices.

The main activities for this position are:

  • Process customer requests for quotations requiring standard product in the system within 24-48 hours.
  • Process New Part Entries into the system, usually within 24 hours.
  • Prepare sample requests adhering to sample procedure based availability or standard sample lead times.
  • Provide knowledgeable responses to customer inquiries and communications in a timely manner, usually within 24 hours.
  • Direct interaction daily with both internal and external customers,along with various manufacturing sites.
  • Review customer blanket purchase orders when issued for accuracy according to Contract Review procedure.
  • Work closely with business development managers to process request for quotation for non standard products in the system according to written procedure.

  • Support business development managers with special projects, trade shows and tech shows as necessary.
  • Assist in training new personnel as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1-3 years progressive experience in a Sales Coordinator and/or Sales support function.
  • Automotive / Distribution background highly preferred.
  • Experience and/or exposure to automotive related documents and automotive industry nomenclature (ex: prints, specifications).
  • Experience or exposure to International/Global settings.
  • Foreign Languages: Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French is a plus.
  • Google SUITE and relevant software. Proficiency in Microsoft SUITE.
  • High level multi-tasking, good organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, be flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Able to work legally in the United States. This position is not classified as a specialty position under USCIS guidance.
