A Sales Coordinator reports directly to assigned Regional Sales Directors or Managers to assist with all associated tasks required to efficiently and effectively book group convention business. This position is a dynamic administrative position which requires strong skills in time management, administrative expertise, clerical skills, and general willingness to complete and array of tasks and interact with staff and clients on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

• Two to three years office experience required of which one year public relations experience or previous hotel experience preferred.

• Experience with Microsoft Office required which includes accurate typing speed of 65 WPM.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent spelling ability.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Detail oriented.

• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize.

• Willing to take new tasks and to work as a team.

• Must be able to work with little or no supervision.

• Must be able to work with various personalities.

• Must be able to deal with change and multiple priorities effectively.

• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and in stressful situations.
