Full description of the position

Objective: Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team. Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands companys customer base and ensure its strong presence. Managing objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives. Deliver profit contribution while aligning goals and objectives with corporate strategic direction.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Sales or related technical field. Significant practical experience in lieu of degree may be acceptable.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in related industry in a sales or technical role.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in sales management

Job Requirements:

  • Proven ability to lead people and get results through others Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities by using time and resources effectively
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer orientation
  • Proficient knowledge of computer use such as-E-mail, internet, MS Office, CRM, etc.
  • Strong business acumen and industry experience
  • Highly self-motivated to achieve results, develop strategies, and execute throughout staff

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage outside sales team and Retail Store Managers. Activities include setting goals and objectives, monitor performance versus budget in each area of responsibility and reviewing actual results with all direct reports on a monthly basis (minimum).
  • Manage the inside sales and customer service representatives. Activities include setting and tracking sales targets for inside team, as well as managing customer service activities and suggesting and implementing improvements in the sales administration process.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain Manager and Product Manager to ensure that the appropriate stocking levels are established to help meet sales targets but also operate within company goals for inventory turns.
  • Along with Supply Chain Manager and Product Manager, determine core products and primary vendors for each core product. Establish parameters for stocking units and direct ship products.
  • Work with Product Manager to establish pricing strategies for different product categories
  • Identify training need for each Regional Sales Manager, Inside Sales, and Retail Personnel. Work with Marketing Department on Distribution literature needs, tradeshows, vendor programs, and proactive Marketing programs.
  • Maintain relationships with core product suppliers and attend key vendor sales meetings when necessary

Pay range: $115,000- $150,000
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the jobs compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
