North County Ford is expanding our Retail Sales Department, and we are looking for strong team members! We are quickly growing and have an immediate opening for an Automotive Salesperson.
Our goal is to offer a fantastic customer service experience each and every time and build long-term relationships with our clients.
Telephone, Internet and Walk-in leads
Pay: $16.00 per hour plus Commission

Job Duties:

• Ensures prompt, professional, and positive greeting of all customers.
• Determines customers vehicle needs by performing a thorough needs analysis.
• Performs a product presentation explaining the features, advantages, and benefits of selected vehicle(s).
• Practices safe driving and obeys all CA State Laws and Rules of the Road
• Practices and utilizes effective closing techniques. Remains profit-minded during closing process.
• Completes a thorough delivery to ensure customer understands vehicle operating features and warranty and introduces customer to the Service Department.
• Uses the company process to maintain a continuous follow up system for all sold customers, prospects, and referrals.
• Completes a thorough trade appraisal utilizing current dealership process, procedure, technology
• Attends weekly sales meetings.
• Maintains brand certification through product tests, class, etc.
• Maintains up to date product knowledge including knowledge of competitive vehicles.
• Maintains up to date knowledge of general technology as well as specific knowledge of systems and software used by the dealership.
• Uses the telephone effectively to seek and obtain appointments with prospects.
• Attends scheduled training classes. Establishes clear goals and objectives on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.
• Conducts all transactions in a professional, legal, and ethical manner.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver license and a clean driving record
• Excellent phone etiquette and demeanor, strong written communication skills
• Two years previous automotive sales experience preferred
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Highly motivated, with the desire to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment!
