Full description of the position

We are looking for a self-motivated and well-spoken account manager to join our sales team. The account manager will be responsible for making outbound phone calls, answering inbound calls, and developing leads. You should be able to close sales and meet sales behavior targets such as customer/prospect touches via phone.

To be successful as an account manager you should be an excellent communicator and have an above average level of business acumen. A top account manager should also be competitive, a good listener, and have a high mechanical aptitude.

Account Manager Responsibilities:

• Making outbound calls to existing customers to potentially sell them additional products and further extend the relationship.
• Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
• Must learn the technical aspects of our products and industry.
• Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information.
• Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
• Creating and maintaining all customer information and communications in the CRM.
• Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
• Upselling products and services.
• Researching and qualifying new leads.
• Closing sales and achieving sales targets.

Account Manager:

• High school diploma/GED.
• Previous experience in an outbound call environment or a related sales position preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Hubspot.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong listening and sales skills.
• Ability to achieve targets.
