Full-time Optician

We are looking for a dynamic, intelligent, ambitious individual that is excited to be part of a growing team in a growing practice!! Metro Eye, a privately-owned optometric practice and eyewear boutique in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward, is seeking an experienced Optician to join our team. We've provided Metro Milwaukee with state-of-the-art eye care and designer eyewear for the past 20 years!

Our approach to the eyewear buying experience is different than most. Our sales Opticians are highly trained to fit and style customers all while educating them on ways to meet their visual needs and wants. The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following criteria:

• Must have at least 1 year experience in the optical industry
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Well organized and thorough
• Strong ability to multitask and prioritize
• Exemplary computer skills
• Detail oriented
• Superior product knowledge and desire to continue learning
• Able to maintain a polished appearance
• Energetic, team player and motivated, excited about a busy environment
