Carolina Skiff is seeking to hire a National Sales Manager for its manufacturing facility in Waycross, GA.
Position Summary:
The National Sales Managers will be responsible for supervising the sales team and building healthy, long-term dealer relationships. This position will be responsible for the development and execution of new sales programs to create accountability and efficiency for our current and future dealer network. This position would specifically focus on dealer prospecting and setup that will achieve our current coverage and expansion goals. In addition, this position will provide guidance to our sales team to work with targeted dealers to focus on growth and/or improvement opportunities.
Sales Manager
Develop and implement effective sales strategies
Coach, mentor and provide training to the sales team
Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in our dealer network
Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
Develop and implement pricing strategies and promotions that drive sales while ensuring profitability and maintaining competitive positioning
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board
Formulate, revise, and implement policies that enhance sales operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry best practices
Lead and oversee the planning and execution of diverse sales related events, including Boat Shows, community engagement initiatives, and other sales related activities
Dealer Recruitment
Development and enforcement of recruitment strategies
Prospect and sign new dealer locations with a focus on achieving expansion goals
Gain commitment from new dealers on minimum inventory stocking requirements and performance commitments
Have a good understanding of dealer performance and profitability metrics
Clear and transparent communication with management, sales team and dealers
Assists with new dealer set-up, onboarding, and training
Dealer Development
Assist new dealer setup and development of new locations to improve sales
Support existing dealer termination, coverage, and succession planning scenarios through dealer prospecting efforts and coordination with dealers and sales team
Dealer Support
Regularly review the national and regional performance of dealers and competition
Identify key focus items for improvement and assist in developing improvement or expansion plans depending on appropriate needs
Clear directional guidance to leadership and other stakeholders of preferred direction and follow-up plan
Continued promotion and education of dealers and sales team through participation in dealer meetings, sales meetings, and other sessions that afford the opportunity to communicate the companys vision
Support company expansion and strategy through interaction with dealers and sales team and the continued development and communication of business modeling and planning tools

Requirements
10+ years of experience in commercial sales and dealer support.
Strong sales/business development experience and product knowledge
Knowledge of dealer operations/business models
Sales and territory management skills
Good presentation and relationship building skills
Strong time management skills and priority focus
MS Office Suite proficiency
