Essential Responsibilities:
- Solicit, negotiate, and generate contracted revenues from prospects.
- Employ revenue management techniques for corporate rate proposals.
- Prepare and present Requests for Proposals for client and hotel value.
- Prospect for new contract business through various methods.
- Ensure outside sales information is added into SalesPro/Delphi.
- Develop, implement, and modify sales action plans.
- Manage and maintain an accurate contact management system.
- Negotiate and close contracts meeting hotel business plan objectives.
- Attend daily business reviews, ensuring accurate communication between client and hotel staff.
- Coordinate and participate in target market trade shows and sales blitzes.
- Conduct competitive analysis and maintain competitor files.
- Maintain rapport with local civic groups and companies.
- Report for scheduled shifts on time and within professional appearance standards.
- Embrace OReach, Green Team, Guest Service, Team Member Satisfaction, Health & Wellness, and Safety culture.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- Present professionally and persuasively to individuals and groups.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of offered products and services.

- Develop sales relationships within the community.
- Use analytical skills for measuring business potential.
- Interact with all levels of customers and hotel management.
- Maintain a strong network of contacts in the hospitality industry.
- Ability to adapt to market changes.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors or Associate degree preferred, Hospitality Management degree a plus.
- 1-2 years of prior Sales experience; Hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Valid drivers license and proof of current vehicle insurance required.
Hours:
- Scheduling may vary, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally.
- Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
- May lift in excess of 40 pounds occasionally.
Physical Activity:
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motion.
- Safety sensitive position with potential additional safety requirements.
Environmental Conditions:
- General interior office environment.
- Minimum distraction primarily from phones and brief interruptions.
