Position: Inside Sales Representative

Job Description: JMI Consultants, LLC (JMI) is seeking a group of Inside Sales Representatives to join our growing business development team. The Inside Sales Representative will be a results-driven individual who will actively seek out and engage prospective customers. Duties:

• Complete a high volume of outbound sales calls to prospective customers
• Identify decision makers within an organization to generate interest in JMIs services
• Use consultative skills and energy market knowledge to develop and maximize potential opportunities
• Route qualified opportunities to closing sales representatives via scheduled conference calls/meetings
• Maintain database of prospective customer information
• Research potential leads and contacts through a variety of avenues including but not limited to; business directories, web searches and LinkedIn profiles
• Customer account management
• Meet and/or exceed weekly, monthly and quarterly sales goals

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a related field of study or 3 years relevant experience
• Previous outbound sales experience highly preferred
• Previous experience in the energy industry a plus, but not necessary
• Demonstrated ability to build a customer base
• Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices and techniques
• Strong problem identification and objections resolution skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent listening skills
• Self-motivated, high energy and engaging level of enthusiasm
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team
• Maintains a positive can do attitude

Location: Initial onboarding and training will occur at JMI's Williamsville offices. Following initial onboarding and training, new Inside Sales hires will report to JMI's Orchard Park office location.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
