Full description of the position
Endeavor Hotel Group, LLC is currently seeking a motivated individual to join their team as the Regional Sales Manager overseeing the development of and execution of strategic sales plans to maximize revenue for four hotels.
As the Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for:
- Local Corporate Sales: Develop and implement sales strategies to target and capture local corporate accounts. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the corporate sector.
- Group Sales: Identify and secure group bookings, including weddings, reunions, and other social events. Collaborate with the hotels' event teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Meeting Room Sales: Promote and sell meeting rooms and conference facilities to local businesses and organizations. Customize packages to meet clients' specific needs.
- Catering Sales: Generate catering business from corporate clients and special events. Coordinate catering services with the hotels' culinary and banquet teams.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats. Provide recommendations to enhance sales strategies.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics. Communicate progress and challenges to the Regional General Manager.
- Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and local networking functions to build a robust network of potential clients and partners.
- Cross-Selling: Collaborate with hotel managers to identify cross-selling opportunities and ensure a cohesive approach to sales efforts.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business management or equivalent experience in a related field
Strong knowledge of the local market and existing corporate relationships is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales, with a proven track record in corporate and group sales.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
