Meyerdirk Art is a division of 7055 Inc. We create and sell everyday art online, at fairs & festivals, and through a network of boutique stores and galleries.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Traveling Sales Associate to join our team. As a Traveling Sales Associate you will travel to various events likehome shows, fairs & festivals around the central and upper midwest (transportation provided).

Your primary role in this position is to turn potential customers into happy art owners. You'll interact with both retail and wholesale customers at various events and across various platforms to help connect customers with artwork they love.

You'll oversee the setup and tear down of a temporary sales booth, greet customers entering the sales booth and provide a great experience for customers and prospective customers. Weeks without scheduled retail events are spent in various other sales activities, such as maintaining wholesale accounts and working with the marketing team on additional selling projects.

Common Duties:

- Travel with sales booth to event

- Assemble and disassemble event sales booth

- Greet customers and provide them with assistance in choosing new artwork

- Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences

- Process sales transactions using mobile Point of Sale

- Assist with inventory management and replenishment

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints

- Maintain a clean and organized sales and booth area

- Coordinate with marketing team on additional sales activities, as needed

Requirements:

- Valid drivers license & Three years clean driving record

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong customer service skills & the ability to build rapport with customers

- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment or independently

- Ability to work without direct supervision

- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management

- Proficiency in communication, both spoken and written

- Previous experience in B2B or retail sales is a plus, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
