Sales Manager
Major Food Distributor located in Hunts Point Cooperative Market in the Bronx is looking for a Sales Manager. As a Sales Manager, you will oversee a team and ensure that sales grow in the Northeastern region. This position will be reporting from the New York headquarters office and will be responsible for developing profitable new business as well as growing sales in existing assigned accounts in the Northeastern area. The Sales Manager responds to our customers needs, monitor accounts receivables, and build strong relations while controlling expenses within budget guidelines.
- Leads Sales team in executing strategies/priorities of our Customers, while partnering with other Nebraskaland departments when applicable
- Responsible for development of KPIs for the region and delivery of revenue/margin for the Sales department
- Responsible for profitably growing the Nebraskalands customer base within an assigned geographic market by aligning current and potential new customers with our product lines and services
- Maintain sales budgets on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, reviewing regional expenses, and recommending improvements
- Participate and lead weekly strategy meetings with our Sales Manager and Sales Representatives
- Maintains visibility with key customers, segments or associations. Participates in food shows, regional customer events, customer segment shows and customer trips to headquarters. Plans and facilitates either alone or in conjunction with sales managers periodic meetings or activities for the region and/or division managed.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- Minimum of 3-5 years of prior experience in a similar function
- Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid Drivers license
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, outlook)
- Excellent communication skills
- Be able to travel as required
- Able to work in varying settings (different customer locations, vehicle, or office environment
- Strong organizational skills and customer service skills with a great attention to detail
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Bilingual (fluent in English & Spanish) a plus
- Experience in distribution sales
- Five years of sales experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
