We are looking for Team Members to provide excellent customer service and create a warm, engaging environment without the pressure of hitting sales metrics. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help welcome guests, build a strong and positive relationship with our vendors, removing roadblocks and obstacles for them. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to Painted Tree's culture as one of inclusivity, supporting small businesses, and team growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers
• Maintain store cleanliness standards
• Answer vendor and customers questions
• Conduct transactions in a friendly and engaging manner
• Assist in store events
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Provide customer and vendor feedback to the Store Manager
• Share key information with prospective vendors about how our stores work and support the Store Manager in welcoming new vendors

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Strong customer focus skills
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform individually or as a part of a team in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Weekend availability required

• Less than 10
• 10-19
• 30-39
• 20-29

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.30 - $14.00 per hour
