For more information, see our website at [please apply online] have an immediate opening for an experienced Sr. Sales Engineer at our Glenshaw, PA manufacturing plant.

This is a dynamic position within Panniers Sales Department. As a Sr. Sales Engineer, you will travel to customers locations across North America providing pre-sales application development support, technical demonstrations and installation and training of our marking systems.

A minimum of 3 years engineering experience, preferably with experience in automation equipment and the ability to travel on a weekly basis is required.

Primary Job Responsibilities

o Provide pre-sales technical sales engineering support to our customers through on-site application development meetings and product demonstrations.

o Develop in-depth technical knowledge of our product lines including operational capabilities, software communication protocols. PLC and PC interface and troubleshooting.

o Become an expert in our automated marking equipment including Laser, Dot Peen and Industrial Ink Jet and Metal Tag Printers.

o Assist in managing our marking labs and perform virtual demonstration of equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• 3 5 years engineering or equivalent experience with electro-mechanical devices with emphasis on capital equipment within manufacturing environments preferred.
• Bachelor of Science Degree preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering, but other technical majors will be considered.
• Knowledge and experience in software, hardware and integration issues and solutions within the manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable in working directly with customers and performing group presentations.
• Strong written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to travel up to 75%, including overnight travel throughout the U.S. and Canada
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Familiarity with PLC programming
• MS Office experience including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. CRM experience such as SalesForce or Zoho a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
