Dorsey Tire Company, Inc. has immediate an opening for a full-time Route Sales Delivery Driver at our Charleston location. Qualified candidates must possess a valid driver's license, pass a DOT physical, and have a clean driving history.

Route Sales Delivery Driver Job Duties:

• Be organized and complete the necessary paperwork as required.
• Deliver and pickup tires to customers.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and equipment in good working condition

Requirements:

• Must have a valid drivers license with clean driving history. (Note: All candidates will be screened through our insurance company before a job offer is made).
• Must be able to operate a mobile handheld computer.
• Must be able to lift 120 pounds or more.
• Must be able to work a 5-day workweek.
• Must be able to work overtime, including weekends if needed.
• May be required to attend training classes on weekends.
• Must be able to read, write, speak English and have legible handwriting.
• Must be able to communicate to supervision in a timely fashion if problems or questions should arise.
• Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
• Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and DOT Physical.
• Perform other tasks as requested.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Job requires lifting, squatting, reaching, bending, and stooping. Must be able to work outside in different elements (rain, heat, cold, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
