Our business depends largely on the abilities of our Account Executives. As the Area Vice President of Sales, you will serve as the support system and supervisor to our Marketers in your specified assigned area.

Our Account Executives provide public awareness for Carter Healthcare and are primarily responsible for connecting Carter Healthcare's top-quality care to eligible patients and families. As the AVP of Sales, you are also responsible for providing information and education to professionals, facilities, organizations, and consumers regarding Carter Healthcare services as well as the coverage and reimbursement of these services in order to enhance and promote Carter Healthcare in the marketplace.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners.
  • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats or opportunities.

The AVP of Sales effectively communicates with Chief Development Officer, Chief Executive Officer, President, Chief Operating Officer, Area Directors of Sales and Assistant Director of Nursing on all aspects of business to implement territory sales activities that enable all sales professionals to achieve top line admission expectations and overall sales objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze market data and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Experience in account management and customer service.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare sales management - coaching, developing and leading successful sales teams.
  • Experience calling on physician and facility referral sources preferred.
  • Must have knowledge and market intelligence in designated territory.
  • Must be able to adequately predict, manage, and monitor the key operating metrics as it relates to the growth of the business in specified market.
  • Ability to monitor sales activity and make adjustments to quarterly plans as necessary.
  • Demonstrated history of successful sales management as evidenced by hitting sales goals consistently on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and other health care professionals.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
