We are currently recruiting for a an OEM Specialist Outside Sales team member supporting our Industrial Automation Team. We have two positions open, one based out of our Sacramento branch office, the other based out of our San Jose, CA branch office. The OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Specialist is responsible for seeking out and generating new business, establishing and maintaining business relationships with OEM partners, and working with other internal departments to drive the Industrial Automation business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sets goals and objectives, develop and execute sales business strategies, establishes call plans, researches and develops account profiles and executes sales plans. This frequently is in coordination with channel and/or other internal sales reps.
• Conducts research to identify opportunities, and conduct tandem visits with other internal sales reps, with a focus on supporting the product group.
• Applies market and account skills necessary for building Industrial Automation relationships with target customer audiences.
• Responsible for overall account management duties of assigned, identified customers.
• Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction through relationship cultivation, dedication to account, increased availability/access, timely communication, assisting with orders, researching customer problems, and following up on accounts.
• Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of customer's organization, attend various product seminars or schools to keep up to date on changes that support the Industrial Automation channel.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years experiencein Industrial Automation Sales

Ideal canddiates will possess knowledge in areas of Industrial Automatioon components such as: starters, power supplies, and relays to effectively contribute to the team's overall success.

Sales and Industry Skills:

• Documented success selling machine control and automation in the OEM market space.
• Strategic selling through identifying key decision makers, establishing relationships with C-level key players
• Ability to develop and cultivate technical and commercial strategies.
• Demonstrative ability to approach customer relationships

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
