Our growing insurance agency is currently seeking an experienced full-time Licensed Health Insurance Agent to work in our retail office inside HEB Alon. This agent will be a part of our internal sales team and must be highly motivated, a team player, and interested in boosting their sales career. This is a high-traffic location with plenty of sales opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Greet and attract potential clients into the retail office as they pass by
• Determine eligibility by comparing prospect information to requirements
• Inform prospects and clients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing information
• Establish insurance policies by entering prospect information and confirming pricing
• Conduct follow-up customer service as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Texas Life and Health Insurance License required
• FFM certified, experience with ACA/Obamacare
• AHIP certified, experience with Medicare

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual, written and verbal English/Spanish a plus

SKILLS

• Must be coachable
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
• Must have strong professional communication skills
• Must be able to work with multiple computer systems and software simultaneously
• Must be detail-oriented
• Must be punctual and present with timeliness and attendance

HOURS

5 days during a Mon - Sat work week with some Saturdays required, 10:00am - 7:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
