Minimum required skills
: 3-5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on automotive accounts, ideally in an account management role.
: Proficient in understanding and articulating distributor roles, as well as executing responsibilities within the semiconductor and automotive markets.
: Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a strong aptitude for risk management in alignment with the semiconductor and automotive industry QCDD standards.
Job Summary
: Support automotive T1/T2 customers with semiconductor products.
: Manage 4+ customers with 5+ suppliers to meet all customer requirements.
This position required to manage timeline, business pressure and all internal/ external request in professional business manner.
: Travel a couple of times in a month.
Program management
: Manage a customer program life time cycle from design, PPAP, safe launch, SOP, PCN, allocation and/or EOL by customer by parts number.
: Manage all new opportunity till win a socket communicating with a supplier and a customer.
: Can perform high level technical discussion with engineering to increase new opportunities.
: Can obtain program information from a customer to manage production pipe line (supply & demand) or new business opportunity.
: Keep up to date all customer programs information in Excel & PowerPoint as a sales tool in timely manner.
: update monthly automotive market with PowerPoint without delay.
: understand semiconductor supplier and customer market environment include acquisitions to maintain Macnicas position in a distribution market.
Supply chain management
: Ability work with Inside sales to manage processing quote, customer forecast/orders, and book orders to supplier based on supplier lead time. Order trucking, expedite, push-out or cancelling P/O depends on customer requirements. All information must be input in spread sheet.
: Ability to manage supply and demand without creating short-supply or dead-inventory based on customer FCT.
: Ability manage line down situation at automotive level of support.
: Ability to manage aging inventory without excess or dead.
: Understand and can manage all N.A. automotive logistics requirements include WMS, Label, barcode, Traceability to meet all customer needs.
RFQ & Credit requirements
: Can negotiate and manage RFQ & cost reduction based on customer programs information to meet customer requirements.
: All cost, resales, profitability and/or usage must be calculated and analyze accurately in excels spread sheet.
: Can manage to keep profitability during a cost negotiation.
Pricing
: Ability to negotiate annual cost reduction between customer and supplier to increase sales & profitability.
: Ability to propose appropriate RFQ
: Ability to create accurate and organized spread sheet includes customer name, parts number, current cost/resale/GP%, proposed future cost down stricture and cost down% against current pricing.
Reporting
: Update daily & weekly activities without delay in timely manner.
: Update, review and manage Weekly POS, BKLG, INV to meet a company goal.
: Update, review and manage monthly, quarterly, yearly forecast with suppliers.
: Weekly activity report to meet a company goal.
: Customer or supplier visit report to manage & meet all requirements in a same day of visit.
New Opportunity
: Ability to open new design and fulfillment opportunity to meet company goal working together FAE.
Quality Responsibility
: Manage quality process includes PPAP, PCN, Failure analysis, 8D and/or quality documentation between supplier and customer working with Quality team to meet customer requirements.
: PCN must be supported with Quality team without any delay at automotive required support level.
: Automotive level of quality requirements and FA lab process must be understood to manage all customer FAR requirements. Provide high level technical assistance with material verification resolution, specification or drawing exceptions depends on supplier or customer manufacturing related issues.
: Ability to manage all traceability data in excel and/or power point.
: Ability to manage all quality related issue based on a customer requested timeline.
Communication
: Ability to short-summary all business opportunities both verbally and in writing.
: Can accept when error was made, make a corrective action and improvement plan in professional manner.
: Can provide professional acknowledgement when advised verbally or in writing.
: Ability to manage all internal/external email, phone call, or message without delay to keep our position strong in timely & professional manner.
: Ability to understand & perform managers request in timely manner.
: Be a team orientated.
Other
Business trip mainly mid-west, eastern region and Mexico.
Overtime depends on customer/supplier needs.
Global communication in different time zone mainly Japan required.
