Industrial Netting serves the converting and distribution needs of customers for specialty netting and mesh products. The company's goal is to provide high-quality products, custom converting and quick delivery. We are looking for a VP of Sales and Marketing to join our team in Maple Grove, MN. The VP of Sales & Marketing is an integral member of the management team, accountable for the long-term profitability and viability of the enterprise. The Vice President of Sales & Marketing will have ultimate responsibility for all customer interactions, pricing strategies, new account acquisition and promotional activities. This position is directly responsible for management of the sales team activities and indirectly responsible for overall management of the enterprise.
Essential Duties:
- Participates as a member of the Management Team developing and implementing business plans, through EOS/Traction
- Manage sales and marketing resources to attain company sales and margin goals.
- Oversee category management of Industrial Nettings product portfolio including pricing, pricing thresholds and promotional programming to deliver optimized sales and profitability performance, for each product line and market category.
- Coordinate sales commitments to minimize both inventory risk and receivables risk.
- Develop and maintain communication plan, including the website, to deliver better service to customers, while improving efficiency and cost effectiveness. Direct all social media, publicity, and public relations efforts.
- Orchestrate collaboration with suppliers to maintain and expand market penetration.
- Use industry events and trade shows to expand the companys footprint and identify opportunities.
- Guide promotional activities and find and develop new customers an fuel product demand.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Five to ten years experience as a sales manager.
- Previous experience participating on a leadership team is a plus.
- Plastics, components or contract manufacturing sales experience a plus.
- Previous experience managing margins and top line sales revenue is expected.
- Negotiating experience with Fortune 500 accounts a plus.
- Technical sales experience selling make-to-order solutions is a plus.
