Territory includes the state of Washington.
Essential Duties:
- Manages the selling process for respective territory to achieve sales goal and gross profit targets.
- Increase revenue by generating new customers and selling additional products to the existing customer base.
- Prospects new customers, manages the on-boarding process and ensures new dealers know and understand all manufacturers, as well as Gardner requirements, for product lines they wish to sell
- Provide superior service to all Gardner customers.
- Help our customers and vendors to grow their market share and to ensure Gardners success.
- Forecasts territory sales and gross profit by utilizing sales analysis tools.
- Schedules customer appointments throughout a large geographic area.
- Manages schedule, including travel, throughout the assigned territory.
- Assists in the accuracy and timeliness of expense reports and other defined reporting.
Education, Experience and/or Requirements:
- A Bachelors Degree in Business Management or other related field, is preferred.
- At least 3 years proven sales experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in the Outdoor Power Equipment industry is preferred.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Detail-oriented, accurate and consistent in following processes.
- Must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time, by vehicle and/or air.
- Overnight travel is required as well as occasional weekend travel for trade shows.
- Experience with driving a truck and trailer preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
