Full description of the position

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our sales team, POS team, and our brand. You will be a key contributor to our team's success as well as the success of the showroom through customer service, sales logging, opening/closing duties, etc. You will be working with our sales team for important meetings and appointments. Other responsibilities include merchandising, writing sales orders, following up with customers about delivery time and finished orders, working with inventory to determine est. wait times, opening/closing systems each day, placing special orders, reconciling cash flow. Additionally, you will provide outstanding customer service by being the primary liaison between the sales team and the customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in creating sales material for sales preparation and success
• Coordinate scheduling with clients and sales team members
• Help with client correspondence
• Coordinate shipping and delivery
• Placing special orders
• Assisting head POS manager
• Reconciling cash flow at EOD
• Handle customer inquiries and issues
• Writing sales orders
• General administrative duties
• Merchandising items around seasons, events, daily looks
• Assist daily sales and operational needs of the showroom through successful account and order management tasks including, but not limited to, emails, submitting orders, tracking and shipping orders
• Be timely and provide clear, honest, and respectful communication with all customers and team members at all times
• Support and reinforce a positive showroom culture and embody company values

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Customer-service oriented
• Advanced organizational and communication skills
• Independent and entrepreneurial with creative, critical-thinking skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong math and problem solving skills
• Salesforce/Shopify experience a plus

COMPENSATION

A Sales/POS Assistant is paid an hourly rate .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 43 per week
