• Solid understanding of accounting principals

Job Description:

Real-estate owner/management company is currently seeking a property manager to join our team! You will be responsible for managing all types of properties including residential, commercial and mix-used properties.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of all community transactions (delinquency reports, move-ins/move-outs,
• Coordinate unit turnover procedures
• Oversee rent collection, delinquency, and eviction procedures
• Drafting, signing, and renewing leases on behalf of property owners
• Market properties via rent-cafe
• Coordinate collection of accounts receivable. This will include the preparation of past due statements, correspondence with delinquent tenants, ensure fees are charged and past dues do not go past 30 days
• Maintain a file of Certificate of Insurance for both tenants and vendors
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
• Manage recurring billing (water, sewer etc.)
• Arrange for necessary repairs to the properties
• Section 8 knowledge
• Maintain property waitlists by purging semi-annually, ensuring waitlist is always fresh with viable leads and current household information.
• Manage all property related contractors (landscapers, cleaning crews, etc.)
• Efficiently fulfill repair requests and schedule routine maintenance
• Enter jornal entries into Yardi

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
