We are seeking an Independent Sales Representative who is eager to succeed in promoting and selling quality products in the region of Kansas City, KS. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining sales by expanding the product portfolio in optical practices and retail eyewear locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gain in-depth knowledge of our products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Educate and train clients on our product range.
- Respond to customer inquiries about our products.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with current and prospective clients.
- Provide detailed presentations on product benefits and usage.
- Regularly visit prospects, potential, new, and existing clients.
- Maintain and update contact lists; follow up regularly with customers.
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities.
- Engage in sales negotiation and closing.
- Manage accounts effectively.
- Implement consultative selling and engage in outside sales activities.
- Maintain a functional database of clients, contacts, leads, etc.
- Complete all required paperwork and reports accurately and on time.
- Participate in conference calls as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Independent contractor with 1-3 years of account management or outside sales experience.
- Prior experience in the eyewear industry is beneficial.
- Professionalism and integrity.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Problem-solving abilities and a solution-focused mindset.
- Strong self-management skills.
- Confidence to influence decision-makers.
- Willingness to travel throughout the territory.
