POSITION SUMMARY

The Contact Center Agent is responsible for achieving goals by recruiting new, current, and past donors and scheduling them to donate at an in-center location or area blood drive. This position must create an exceptional donor experience through assigned multi-channel contact with customers, which includes inbound and outbound calls and two-way texting. This position is responsible for individual metrics as well as meeting monthly team collection goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Contacts donors via predictive dialer, phone and/or text to recruit new, current and past donors to schedule an appointment at an in-center location or area blood drive.
• Follow a consistent process and appropriate scripting to provide an exceptional donor experience and compelling message to influence donors to schedule an appointment for blood donation.
• Achieve daily production standards, including phone calls per hour, appointments per hour, and show rate to meet established collection goals.
• Maintain proper record keeping by coding donor records appropriately based on the information provided by the donor, other parties, and management.
• Retain donors by booking quality donation appointments and assisting in the resolution of customer service issues.
• Answer inbound phone calls and respond appropriately to the callers needs. Makes cold calls to public to generate blood donations when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE

None. 1-2 years customer service and/or contact center experience preferred.
