Position Overview: As an Outside Sales Representative at Stratus, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward. You'll be responsible for prospecting, building relationships, and ultimately selling our cutting-edge water solutions to businesses in the Santa Barbara area. We're seeking individuals with exceptional communication skills, a fearless "hunter" mentality, and a passion for making a positive impact on the environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and cold call potential clients to introduce Stratus Pure Water solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at businesses, promoting the benefits of our sustainable water alternatives.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of Stratus water dispensers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive sales efforts and effective pipeline management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continually refine sales strategies.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in an outside sales or business development role.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
- Self-motivated and driven with a "hunter" mentality, comfortable with cold calling and prospecting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
