We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Sales Associate to join our team. As a Lead Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager with new membership sales as well as the retention of current members. The perfect candidate will be excited about meeting and greeting our member community, contribute to building a strong studio culture among members and staff and seeks long-term growth and advancement with YogaSix.

Responsibilities:

• Assist General Manager in mentoring and developing a team of associates
• Monitor and achieve sales targets, while providing coaching and support to the sales team
• Lead generation and follow-up, membership sales and retention (phone, email and in-person)
• Be knowledgeable about classes and pricing
• Manage member services, including new member onboarding and member account changes
• Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
• Participate in Grassroots marketing partnerships and events to promote the studio
• Assist in studio cleaning and organization
• Participate in studio meetings and trainings
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a fitness or membership-based environment
• The ability to work days, evenings and weekends
• Goal-orientated with an ability to consistently achieve sales targets
• Fluent in English with excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks
• Professional, punctual, reliable and neat
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Proficient with computer and studio software

Physical Requirements:

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employee must be able to work hours that may exceed 8 hours per day and 40 hours week, including nights and weekends.
• May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time. May be required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to bend, lift, kneel and drive a car. May be asked occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by the position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
• Must be able to hear effectively in person and via telephone.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 40 per week
