We are currently seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team in Naples/Ft. myers, Florida. The primary responsibility of the Account Manager is to service and retain commercial lines accounts. Must seek growth opportunities within book of business and handle inside service work associated with the clients insurance program.

The CL Account Manager is responsible for servicing new and existing clients and helping to maintain positive client relationships for Commercial Lines accounts, providing high quality of service with a focus on the profitability of the business to the agency.

Essential Duties and Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain and service a book of business
  • Follow procedure manual
  • Attend department meetings
  • Build relationships/rapport with clients
  • Represent the agency at networking events if needed
  • Maintain and update the AMS 360 database timely and accurately pare quotations when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Florida 220 Property & Casualty license
  • Knowledge of customer service functions such as rating, marketing, claims handling and coverage information
  • Strong commitment to service for the agency's clients
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills
  • Effective and efficient use of computer and related equipment
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to respond to requests effectively and efficiently
  • Industry designations are promoted and funded by the agency

Performance Expectations:

  • Have work current on a weekly basis
  • Meet agency growth and retention goals
  • Work well with underwriters and fellow employees of the agency
  • Assist the customer cooperatively and courteously
  • Meet agency continuing education requirements
  • Work independently and carry out assignments to completion with minimum instruction

Physical Requirements

  • Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion enough for use of a keyboard, mouse, on a constant basis 7-8 hours per day
  • Vision enough for constant use of computer
  • Ability to sit at a desk 7-8 hours per day
  • Hearing enough for in-person and telephone communication
