Position Overview:
We seek a dynamic and motivated Inbound/Outbound Automotive Parts Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles and a proven track record in sales, with a focus on automotive parts and accessories. As an integral part of our sales team, you will be responsible for reaching out to potential clients, building strong relationships, and driving sales growth in the automotive parts sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Conduct research to identify potential clients within the automotive industry. Utilize various sources to generate leads and maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities.
  • Outbound Sales Calls: Initiate outbound sales calls to prospective clients to introduce our range of automotive parts and accessories. Clearly and persuasively articulate product features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Inbound Sales Calls: work with customers that are calling inbound to assist with parts they may have already purchased and help provide information to complete the installation.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our automotive parts catalog and stay up-to-date with industry trends and product advancements. Effectively communicate the technical details and advantages of each product to potential clients.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong and enduring relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions. Act as a trusted advisor to clients in making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Quotation and Proposal Generation: Prepare accurate and competitive price quotations and proposals based on client requirements. Collaborate with the internal team to ensure timely and accurate responses to client inquiries.
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by effectively managing your sales pipeline, tracking progress, and implementing strategies to overcome challenges.
  • Market Insights: Gather market intelligence by staying attuned to competitors, industry trends, and customer feedback. Provide feedback to the management team to refine strategies and offerings.
  • CRM Management: Utilize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to document sales activities, maintain accurate records of interactions, and manage follow-up tasks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on strategies, campaigns, and promotional activities. Provide insights and feedback from the field to support continuous improvement.
  • Travel: Occasionally attend industry trade shows, conventions, and client meetings as required to promote products and build relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successful outbound sales experience, preferably in the automotive parts or related industry.
  • Strong passion for automobiles and automotive aftermarket products.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
  • Technical aptitude to understand and explain complex automotive parts.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility for occasional travel as needed.
  • High school diploma required; higher education in business or related field is a plus.
