Full description of the position

CIS Management is looking to hire a Leasing Agent to work on-site. This role requires a dynamic, self-motivated individual with high energy and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will fill units upon notice, schedule and run open houses, maintain YARDI files and work collaboratively with our Property Managers.

Responsibilities include:

Emailing or calling prospective residents and providing information about the application process and the community

Scheduling tours and interviews with Property Management

Coordinating move-ins; preparing lease agreements and related paperwork, if necessary

Advising on all lease and resident handbook questions

Supporting marketing efforts; providing suggestions regarding promotions and advertisements in compliance with Fair Housing regulations

Building and maintaining strong positive relationships with all potential residents

Completing follow-up and call-backs with prospects after the initial contact whether email, phone call, or on-site

Maintaining thorough knowledge of all properties and turnover activity

Providing and maintaining exceptional respectful customer service

Qualifications:

At least 2+ years of demonstrated leasing experience

Superior sales and customer service skills

Strong time management and organizational skills

Professional appearance and demeanor

Superior ability to help our customers resolve issues with respect, professionalism and clear communication

Ability to manage several tasks at once while remaining detailed and well organized

Trustworthy and dependable

Excellent computer skills and tech aptitude

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and YARDI

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Property leasing: 1 year (Required)
• Yardi: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Ocean County, NJ: Relocate before starting work (Required)
