Job description

Haulmark Services is a family run business with over 25 years of experience providing a variety of trucking, brokerage, and supply chain solutions to a diverse range of industries. We currently transport a wide array of commodities; including refrigerated, temperature protected, manufactured goods, chemicals, specialty, and heavy-haul transport throughout the continental U.S. The ideal candidate loves dogs and has experience prospecting leads within the supply chain and logistics industry.

Full-time: Monday-Friday (7:30-4:30)

Responsibilities:

• Find prospects through research, telemarketing, and field sales
• Determine prospects needs in order to gain their business
• Strong follow-up on new leads
• Manage and maintain existing customer partnerships
• Negotiate contracts, rate structures, lanes and service options
• Pricing proposals for both current and prospective customers
• Monitoring shipments from pick-up through delivery
• Monitor account productivity
• Submit daily and weekly reports to management
• Keep up-to-date information in the company database

Ideal Qualifications:

• Business-to-business sales experience in the transportation/logistics industry
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable with speaking on phone
• Solid time management and multitasking skills
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software/Applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual English / Spanish a plus
• Some travel is required

Benefits:

Salary range $40,000 - $75,000. Commensurate with Experience and Stability
