Full description of the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Associate. The leasing associate is responsible for all leasing functions, which may include reviewing and negotiating lease transactions and agreements.

Typical Job duties

• Conducts background research on lease applicants
• Oversees the processing and approval of client applications and lease documents
• Reviews and negotiates letters of intent and lease agreements
• Researches current trends and lease prices to ensure competitive rates
• Scouts and identifies prospective tenants looking to lease property
• Ensures the proper documentation and storage of leasing files
• Coordinates with construction, legal and other departments to ensure efficient delivery of space and lease documentation.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial leasing and sales experience
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to read and understand leasing forms
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
