Inside Sales Rep
Summary

Under the direct supervision of the sales manager, the inside sales position primarily processes the customer orders by entering the order into the Companys software system, ordering stock items, supporting inside/outside sales as needed, receiving payments from customers, problem solving and providing good customer service. Occasionally this position may be required to travel in a company vehicle for small deliveries

• Take customer orders by phone, email, fax or in person
• Write up & design customer orders in company software
• Assist customers with product information, orders, and other questions
• Develop and maintain sales pipeline and utilize sales CRM
• Promote new products

Supervisory Responsibility

This role has no supervisory responsibility

Work Environment

This position functions in a fast-paced office environment where attention to detail is a must and the ability to focus on the customer order is critical to avoid error in customer billing or manufacturing of their product.

Physical Demands

This role is largely sedentary spending long hours on the phone and in front of the computer.

Travel

No out of town travel is expected for this position

Required Education and Experience

• None

Preferred Education and Experience

• One-year related experience
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel
• Knowledge of Construction Industry
