Full description of the position

INSIDE SALESPERSON

Reports To:

The INSIDE SALES PERSON will report to the REVENUE MANAGER.

Key Roles:

1. Architect, Customer and Agent Liaison connecting with inside teams (Engineering, Estimating, Project Management, Marketing).

2. Manage leads, agent sales reports and closing reports.

3. Address project specific queries with technical and specification support.

4. Lead architectural review meetings as needed.

Description of Responsibilities:

An inside salesperson is responsible for selling ECO Cladding products or services to customers. The job description for an inside salesperson to includes the following:

  • Sales target attainment: Meeting or exceeding sales targets set by the company.
  • Customer prospecting: Identifying and reaching out to potential customers based on lead generation information.
  • Lead generation: Qualifying and converting leads from various avenues (suppliers, construct connect, info@...) into sales opportunities.
  • Product knowledge: Developing a technical understanding of the company's products or services to effectively sell them to customers.
  • Sales pitch and proposal creation: Creating compelling sales pitches and proposals to convince customers to buy the product or service.
  • Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how the faades and our services work.
  • Cultivation of new sales opportunities.
  • Managing a sales pipeline and keeping it up to date via Salesforce (owner of SalesForce).
  • Managing post bid / closing pipeline. Communicate with the internal teams to understand customer needs in order to secure purchase order.
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements to suggest appropriate products or services.
  • Negotiating and closing sales deals by establish customer rapport and acceptance.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create and execute sales campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of inside sales experience.
  • Preference given to candidates with technical background and / or construction industry experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - must communicate well with fellow employees, customers, vendors, contractors, and agents.
  • Candidate must set standards of excellence in leadership, safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Thorough knowledge and experience using PDF reader software (preferably BlueBeam).
  • A thorough knowledge of reading, understanding, and navigating through construction documents is preferred.
  • Team building skills with technical and non-technical staff.

Job Type: Full time Monday through Friday

Compensation:

  • Base Pay: $40,000 60,000 annually
  • Bonus: Sales performance bonuses (reviewed and compensated quarterly).
