Key Responsibilities
- Promotes AD brand and mission awareness and models the companys value of excellence as the face of AD to the local medical community.
- Engages, develops and maintains relationships with individuals and groups involved in the field of prosthetics that have the capability of providing patient connections.
- Hosts and/or attends meetings, lunches/dinners and events to network with prospective and current referral sources (e.g. physicians, therapists, case managers, and reimbursement agencies).
- Attends AD booth at conferences and tradeshows.
- Follows up with all referral source leads in a timely manner.
- Schedules and delivers educational in-services and presentations that promote AD and its mission, services, technologies and value proposition.
- Maintains collaborative communication with referral sources on patient progress to foster confidence in AD and encourage and/or positively reinforce the referral decision.
- Manages Centers geographic reach and regional patient footprint and expands as appropriate.
- Demonstrated ability to collaboratively build and manage relationships within the medical community.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to collaboratively build and manage relationships within the medical community.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- 3-6 years of business development experience.
- Availability to travel frequently within region.
- Ability to think strategically and develop tactical plans to achieve Center goals.
- Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to take a proactive approach to generating and assessing new opportunities, and good business judgement to discern appropriate next steps.
- High degree of confidentiality and integrity
- Professional demeanor and demonstrated sense of propriety as pertains to the medical community.
- Punctual and reliable
