Are you an outgoing, friendly person? Looking for exciting opportunities to meet new people? At People's Alliance Federal Credit Union (PAFCU), the Business Development Specialist serves as the first point of contact for all new member companies into the Credit Union and is responsible for building and maintaining member relationships. Our Business Development Specialists connect with companies throughout the Tri-State area selling credit unions [please apply online] program. As a Business Development Specialist, you will:

Build strong relationships with members, outside business contacts, and employees

Maintain in-depth product knowledge and educate the members we serve about the products

Work with our Customer Relationship Management system to implement campaigns

Showcase the newest promotions that PAFCU has to offer

Represent the credit union at various events.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with strong customer service and sales background to join our TEAM! This great entry level position allows you to travel and meet our prospective membership first hand while showing how our credit union can improve their lives.

Position Requirements:

HS Diploma required

-MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE

-BILINGUAL: ENGLISH/SPANISH IS REQUIRED

- Sales experience: 1 year (preferred)

-Comfortable speaking to members on the phone and making outbound calls

-Time management skills

-Great people skills

-Ability to cross-sell Credit Union products and services

-Some knowledge of banking products preferred

This Full Time position is based out of our Hauppauge location and requires travel to networking events with use of company vehicles. You will be going to locations throughout the Tri-State area.

Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm, flexibility is a must as some early mornings, weeknights or weekend hours are needed.

Employee will have use of the company cars for business use.
