ABOUT THE POSITION:

We're currently seeking a talented HVAC Sales Specialist to join ECCO Heating Supply's Tigard, OR location. Proficiency in delivering exceptional customer service through in-person, phone, and email interactions is a must. Responsibilities include processing orders, generating quotes, and providing timely updates on back orders. Additionally, this role involves educating customers on product features, utilizing cross-selling and upselling techniques, and maintaining a comprehensive sales database. The HVAC Sales Specialist will work closely with the Outside Sales Team, participate in annual inventory counts, and actively pursue professional development opportunities. • Assist customers at sales counter, by phone, and via email while providing high level of customer service and problem solving; as well as submitting orders and providing quotes
• Assist warehouse crew with some receiving and order preparation
• Contact customers when back orders are available while making sure to update time and date of call on invoice
• Educate customers on features and benefits of products in order to improve related sales and customer satisfaction
• Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, upselling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items

ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Post Secondary Education an asset

Previous Order Desk and/or Sales experience a must

Previous experience in HVAC, manufacturing or related industry a must

Strong computer skills, with the ability to multi-task data-entry and order processing efficiently

Excellent communication skills; high energy, enthusiastic with proven people skills and ability to work as part of a team and independently

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
