Eldredge Lumber & Hardware is a progressive family run company serving Southern Maine and beyond since 1937. Full-time Contractor Counter Inside Sales positions are currently available for our York location. Candidates must have excellent customer service skills, an eye for detail, and love working for a growing company that cares about its employees and the community they work in. An inside sales associate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales. • Proven inside sales experience.
• Knowledgeable about power tools (DeWALT, Makita, Festool, Milwawkee, Craftsman)
• Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Understand customer needs and requirements
• Able close sales on a regular consistent basis
• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
• Maintain and expand your database of prospects
• Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
• Perform effective onsite demos to prospects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
