Full description of the position

Growing independent insurance agency is looking for motivated individuals to join our office in Maywood, California. The new team members will receive extensive training and guidance to accomplish the required tasks. At least 2 years of administrative/customer service experience in insurance is needed.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Quoting and selling to new clients
  • Establish and foster good relationships with current customers
  • Provide friendly assistance and interact with our customers via telephone, email or in person
  • Connect with potential leads and convert them to customers.
  • Follow-up with cancellation notices with current customers

Requirements and skills:

  • California Property & Casualty, Personal Lines Insurance license is required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent at minimum
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service/office experience in Insurance
  • Familiar with insurance raters and management systems.
  • Must work on rotating Saturdays from 10 AM 3PM.
  • Computer proficiency and MS Office experience (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Bilingual, English Spanish a plus
  • Friendly and happy person with outgoing personality
  • Must be able to verify references
