We are seeking an experienced Inside Business Development Specialist to join our team!

The Role: TheInside Business Development Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Regional Manager in the overall management of the assigned geographic region to meet or exceed region and company sales goals.

Our team follows a hybrid schedule working in-office two days a week and remotely for the rest.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Initiates outbound sales calls within the assigned region to generate sales leads for further follow-up.
• Creates sales opportunities through daily rep/customer communication, documenting all leads and opportunities in CRM. Actively uses CRM to follow up on leads to drive sales.
• Fields calls from customers, sales reps or distributors, tracks all pertinent information regarding the inquiry in CRM and/or ERP system.
• Provides pricing and availability for all catalog items and provides awareness to rep/customer on all product and pricing promotions.
• Cross references competitive products and suggests Ericson products that would meet customer needs.
• Follows up w/customers on all quotes prior to expiration date to facilitate an order or close the quote.
• Individually, or with BDM (Business Development Manager) authorizes and logs Regional Discount pricing.
• Resolves any inconsistencies between order and quote with distributor, BDM, or the customer and ensures all order information is complete and accurate.
• Maintains and updates customer database information.
• Additional duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 3 years inside sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with customers via telephone; strong computer skills required.
• ERP transactional experience and CRM database experience essential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to actively problem solve and remain calm under pressure.
• Experience in the electrical industry preferred.
• Government sales experience a plus.
• Ability to actively problem solve and remain calm under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required with additional education preferred.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
