Job Responsibilities:

The following PRIMARY job duties will be expected as a sales manager:

• To assist in directing the sales team in accordance with company guidelines for quality customer treatment and to train and develop sales skills using the prescribed selling system and procedures.
• To cover the sales desk per the schedule posted using the selling process.
• To package/input all necessary data prior to turning files over the finance dept. to improve deal processing.
• The supervision and training of salespeople in superior guest treatment and to maintain a professional work environment.
• The closing of sales using policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
• To track and perform manager call-backs DAILY.
• The objective for this job description is a 50% showroom delivery and a $3300 gross average on deals managed by you.
• Periodic evaluations will be given to analyze the desk performance, gross average and storewide CSI results based on survey feedback.
• To assist in overseeing ATN certification process for all sales personnel needing certification and provide a quarterly status report.
• Responsible for overseeing scheduling of salespeople, and also for discipline of sales department personnel (including hiring & termination decisions).
• Responsible for directing activities of salespeople and other sales department personnel
• To have monthly goal sessions and a review with department management.
• The closing of sales in coordination with F&I Management

The following SECONDARY job duties are expected occasionally in assisting in financial management, you are requested to assist in the following duties normally performed by the finance manager:

• Overseeing and/or personally signing and clearing all sales transactional paperwork and loan approvals, as well as location sales manager duties.
• Taking callbacks from banks on deals and writing information on deal jackets.
• Taking responsibility for all deals having a clear status on the sales pending and contracts in transit sheet.
• Ensure all deals sent from the accounting office are repaired and returned as soon as possible.
• To properly prepare and finalize deals as described and trained in the deal structure guidelines per company policy.
• To clear and deliver each transaction the following working day or less, to turn in each deal to the accounting office. Any deal pending more than 2 working days after delivery must be finalized and turned into accounting prior to days off being taken by financial managers.
• To set, track and participate in both individual and departmental goals and goal setting prior to the 25th of each month.
• To discuss pending deals with department management daily.
• Update bank books and rate books in the dealership rate book.
• To sign each sales transaction at a minimum of $1800.00 in total F&I product sales and reserve, with a goal of $2200.00 PVR.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
