Full job description

The Construction Sales Rep (CSR) reporting to the Business Director, will collaborate closely with the Senior Construction Management Team to Drive new business opportunities forward, including and not limited to helping identify, develop, and support specific opportunities, assisting in improving and managing business driving systems to track profit progress and ensure informed decision-making.

Description:

The role is responsible for revenue generation through new account development and key account management in market segments, primarily property management, public/small works projects, commercial renovation, and seismic/structural repairs. The CSR will be responsible for revenue growth regionally within these business segments.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets in vertical markets, focusing on paint, drywall, flooring and seismic repairs.
  • Primary focus will be to find new customers and opportunities. Generate leads, schedule inspections, and write estimates.
  • Identify customer requirements and coordinate with Pre-Con Department to develop and present proposals; similarly, identify and respond to new leads.
  • Ensure clients receive the desired level of service and that projects are successful and meet customer expectations.
  • Keeps an updated detailed job opportunity list and regularly track and report on progress toward sales goals.
  • Obtain and understand Xactimate estimates from insurance companies, facilitating clear communication between all parties involved.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of paint, drywall, and texture systems, including their prep, application, and functionality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to enhance expertise and provide informed recommendations to clients.

Education:

High School or equivalent

Work Experience:

  • 5+ years of construction sales relationships
  • Versed in all technical aspects of construction services, including design, build, and operate within the construction industry.
  • 5+ years knowledge of construction systems; preferred to include drywall, texture, paint, carpentry, flooring.
  • 5+ years of consultative sales experience in with a proven track record of sales performance
  • 5+ years experience in construction sales
  • Maintains a current understanding of mission-critical industry trends.

Base Salary + Commission

$40,000-$125,000
