Title: Sales Support Specialist

Department: Sales

Salary Range: Based on Qualifications and Experience

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday Friday 7:30am 4:00pm

The Sales Support Specialist is a customer-focused professional responsible for providing support to the sales team and ensuring customer satisfaction. They manage sales tracking tools and analyze sales trends by reviewing and organizing leads, updating prospects lists, and assists the sales team by providing essential support for an effective sales operation.

This is a position within the Sales Department of VPET USA, reporting to the Commercial Business Manager. This position is multi-faceted and will handle a variety of tasks in an effort to increase response times to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team member in a fast-paced support environment including frequent contact with Vpet Account Managers, Management, and various departments within our Operations network

• Create reports to share information and knowledge as required

• Utilize Pipedrive to log and manage new business prospects

• Manage and prioritize quotes to ensure quick turnaround within 24hrs

• Track and facilitate customer samples through various channels to ensure timely delivery

• Work as internal liaison between Sales and NPD teams to streamline project work through Asana

• Update Pipedrive [CRM] with new projects

• Responsible for the organizing Tradeshow registration and samples

• Entering customer forecasts into SAP

• Performing data entry duties in regards to metrics, sales figures and other key data

Skills and Abilities

• Fluent English in order to read, write and understand verbal work instructions.

• Must be Self-Motivated

• Support technical inquiries of both existing and new customers

• Excellent knowledge and experience in Word, Excel, Outlook

• Detail oriented and process driven in order to balance timeliness and quality of service

• Must be tactful, courteous, and possess an ability to motivate others and must enjoy working in a team environment and be willing to contribute to a teams success

Education/Experience

• Education at the college level, Bachelors degree strongly preferred; Or Minimum of 3 years experience in a Sales Service role
