GS PlantOptics is a full service, software sales and support organization. Our primary product focus is the AVEVA industrial automation and operations management software solutions, along with other complementary product lines. GS PlantOptics is a Certified Support Provide (CSP) and Certified Training Provider (CTP) for AVEVA in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and the Dakotas sales territory.

This position involves a combination of inside sales, sales operations, and customer service. Our Sales Operations team is responsible for driving greater efficiency and productivity for the organization by handling the day-to-day transactional sales activities and interactions with customers. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, problem solving skills, and the capability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Attention to detail & accuracy is a must.

Main Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting in all operational aspects including customer service, quoting, order processing, purchasing, invoicing and sales
• Serving as the subject matter expert to both our outside sales team and to customers for commercial programs, software licensing, product pricing, quote creation and order processing
• Creating and delivering accurate quotes for both simple and complex technical solutions
• Taking basic requirements or outlines of customer needs and researching them with the appropriate subject matter experts within the organization to ensure best-fit solutions for the customer
• Responding to customer inquiries and resolving related issues
• Collaborating with vendors and internal resources to help sales and customers achieve success
• Working to grow knowledge to take on advanced licensing and subscription software offerings
• Using databases to maintain customer records, answer questions, research, and resolve order or licensing related issues
• Coordinating the training schedule, enrollments, and logistics
• Assisting in improving internal processes to drive greater efficiency within the organization

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience working with software
• Experience with inside sales, sales operations or order processing capacity a plus
• Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) skills
• Superior written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work directly with customers, taking necessary customer requirements and turning them into proper solutions
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with customer issues that may arise
• Ability to communicate and collaborate closely with multiple departments both internally and directly with customers
• Ability to use resources effectively to generate solutions; take initiative when resolving problems
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively to multiple priorities is a must
• Experience with NetSuite or similar CRM/ERP solution preferred
• BBA/BS degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
