General Description:
A sales leader with a passion for achievement, goal setting, and willingness to take the extra step toward building the Little Giant brand in key mass merchants. The primary goal of a Little Giant Territory Sales Representative is to encourage sales through awareness and education. Maintain a good working relationship with store management, and their team of associates to increase sales and the Little Giant brand:
Employee will work 5 days a week detailing/training/merchandising in a mass merchant retail setting.
May be needed to assist Account Managers with Saturday events (Lowes Pro events, trade shows, safety trainings, etc.) on an as needed basis.
Will need to manage accounts in their assigned geographic territory.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Product introduction and fundamentally sound sales approach; training store associates, in-store merchandising, selling the end-user and events. Key Focus Area: Achieving optimal floor space, merchandising, developing strong relationships with retail managers and associates. Provide in-store safety training, competitive insight, storewide events, etc.
In this role, the Little Giant Sales Representative will be customer facing for mass merchants, focusing on Lowes.
They will be product experts and responsible for coordinating daily activities with the assistance of the management team.
Increase same store sales through product knowledge as well as relationship building.
Submit weekly store reports including merchandising floor space, competition insight, SKU updates/needs, marketing placement, display excellence, and event recaps.
Day to Day Checklist:
Check with Manager, Pro Desk, and Merchandising Service Team if available.
Ensure all points of purchase and marketing materials are up to date.
Take pictures of products in run and as well as end caps.
Complete competitive insight documentation.
Document off-shelf execution (end caps, racks, stack-outs, etc.)
Competencies:
Self-motivated, persuasive and results oriented.
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Organized, dependable and professional.
Experience and Education:
Bachelors degree or 3+ years of sales experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Salesforce preferred but not required.
MS Office competency Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Technology savvy.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to carry ladders, up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
