Nyles mission is to help its customers with their energy transition to a zero-emissions environment. Nyle has its manufacturing and design operations in Brewer and in Bangor, ME.

Job Description:

Nyle Thermal is looking for a Sales Engineer. This is an engaging, fast-paced, technical role which provides support to inside sales teams and third-party engineers wishing to utilize Thermals electrification solutions in their design.

Duties/Essential Job Functions:

Lead / Job Management

Business Development and Lead Generation:

• Identify applications for heat pump and heat recovery technologies in target markets including dairy, breweries and other industrial market segments.
• Generate new leads and contacts within target markets.
• Host introductory meetings and provide product and service overviews to prospective customers and partners.
• Independently complete intake of new leads and generate records for all new phone call, email, web, or trade show inquiries and contacts.

Provide responsive consultations to customers:

• Answer questions related to product specifications.
• Consult with customers and engineers to develop detailed recommendations and integration plans.
• Assist with customer site visits to aid in the implementation of Nyle products.
• Develop quotes for customers after approval of system design and equipment selection.

Order Processing

Upon receipt of a purchase order:

• Generate and facilitate completion of order confirmation documents with customers.
• Facilitate order entry and customer invoicing with Nyle accounting.

Product Literature Management

• Produce and update data for technical specifications and other product literature.
• Interface with the marketing department to keep product literature up to date.

Job Requirements and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sales or Applications Engineer for Steam or HVAC systems.
• Demonstrated experience sizing HVAC and/or steam systems for industrial or commercial applications.
• Experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred.
• Excellent technical communication skills.
• Willingness to support customers by phone outside of Eastern US time zones outside of normal working hours.
